Yes, I'm going to post my favorite first episodes here. This blog will get updated whenever I run into another awesome first episode.
This blog WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS.



Everyone dies. How fucking awesome is that? You think you've met the main cast and you've slightly gotten used to them, and they all get murdered in a cruel brutal way at the end.
God, I love this anime/episode.



Ah, another case of "character who you thought was a main character gets murdered at the end of the first episode." Again, how fucking awesome is that? The episode was suspenseful and absolutely amazing, so was the second episode. 10/10 worthy.
Too bad the rest of the series wasn't as good.



Amazing first episode; the music, the atmosphere, the pacing, the characters, THE MUSIC, just everything was perfect!
And the rest wasn't. I was so disappointed in the rest of the series. I liked the first 2 arcs, but the rest was just bleh. I even skipped Chubby's arc, since I heard it totally wasn't worth it.



Ah PA Works. You and your awesome anime.
The first episode was a perfect mix of SOL, drama and comedy. The characters aren't that likable, except for the protagonist and her mother. But the rest will grow on you later on, don't worry.
One thing that I really loved about the first episode was the animation and art; it was astounding. As expected of PA Works of course.
I don't have words for the awesomeness that was this first episode. Just watch it.



Comedy, love-able characters, a murder, brilliant dialogue, DAT OP, original male protagonist, great animation, DAT OP etc.
What was there not to like? This first episode had EVERYTHING. It was a perfect prologue for an amazing series.
