Scoring
Anime Relations: Noragami
☆10/10
These anime are my all time favorites. Shows that I enjoyed trough all it's run-time and consider re-watching in the future. These are anime that I enjoyed every aspect of - animation, characters, story, etc. Nothing is flawless of course, but even with very small flaws, ten out of ten anime are my ultimate favorites.
☆9/10
These are anime that were close to being absolutely amazing in my eyes, but were missing something to really become my ultra fave, but were still very enjoyable and had many great things about it to guarantee that nine out of ten. They might have some problems, but at the end, it's still a great show that I'd recommend a lot.
☆8/10
Weren't exactly ''Great'', but still very good! Scoring an anime a 8 is very similar on how I rate a 9 out of 10 show, but it had way more average episodes or flaws that dropped it a bit lower, but again, I still consider it a very good show.
☆7/10
It's a good show. Not great or very good, but... good. I enjoyed many episodes or many things about it, but it probably had some things in some parts that really dragged it down, but in the end, it still was enjoyable or interesting to watch.
☆6/10
6 might still be a good score to some people, but for me a six is already ''just fine''. I give this to anime that were close to being good and had decent parts, but ended up being just alright. Not bad or even average, just could've been executed or made way better.
☆5/10
Anime that are just ''meh''. These are anime that I would only really have a few reasons to watch it instead of dropping it and ended up being average. I wouldn't call it bad just yet since it still had good things about it that I liked, but it's still nothing special.
☆4/10
This is when an anime is already bad. It had maybe some saving grace, but at this point, it's not average, just bad. Had something decent to save it from getting a lower score, but still isn't recommenced.
☆3/10
Really bad. Like... really bad. Might have something to save it from being the worst thing ever, but an anime with this score is still badly written, animated or just downright boring or terrible. Whatever the reason is, it's a bad show that I wouldn't recommend.
☆2-1/10
These are the bottom of the barrel, the worst things I've seen. Some shows might have good animation or a good character, but that doesn't save it from the terrible writing, story or how it progresses. This is a special score for terrible shows that shouldn't exist.

WHY I LIKE NORAGAMI
- Noragami, an underdog story
- powerful female lead
-YATO
- the trio’s relationship is so strong and supportive
- all characters are well developed and easy to be emotionally attached to
- like honestly, I’d kill even for a spin off about Ebisu’s hilarious shinki
- story created by Adachitoka, two amazingly talented women
- the cast of Noragami is extremely heartwarming and have AMAZING chemistry.
- the Noragami fandom is incredibly kind and welcoming; to me, the best fandom on tumblr
- the tumblr fandom has some of the best fanfic writers and fanart-ists
- two hella amazing OPs and emotional EDs
- four great OVA's
- the Noragami dub is one of the best dubs I’ve ever seen. rare.
- the manga is ongoing (as of now, ch 74), and the quality hasn’t dropped a single bit
-the voice acting in the anime is amazing
-the live stage is great too
-the art in the manga is gorgeous
- the anime has done an amazing job of adapting Adachitoka’s work
- I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. The artwork/animation and soundtrack. Is insane.
you can tell each panel is written with dedication to the storyline and artistic storytelling. None of the characters are over sexualized (even though Bisha fights in a revealing outfit, she doesn’t have those typical anime boobs™ that bounce around defying the laws of physics, nor is it designed to give any sexual fan service). The females within the stories are complex, strong, determined, and likable without being pawns of men. Noragami also realistically addresses victims of abuse and PTSD and provides unconditional love and support as well as healthy outlets for characters that suffer from these tragedies, providing hope to anyone who has had suffered or continues to suffer from trauma. Adachitoka also gives an interesting and exciting interpretation of Japanese mythology that still respects the Shinto religion. The main antagonists (father and heaven) are morally ambiguous and demonstrate that the ends don’t necessarily justify the means. All the characters are lovable, quirky, and independent of one another in terms of character traits. Adachitoka also touches upon how relationships and the context of family can change for different people, although all require love, acceptance, honesty, and communication.
Noragami is such an amazing story and I’m sad that it hasn’t gained as much traction as other animes. Hopefully in the future more people come to read and appreciate Noragami!
