Too much suffering. Not bad. Best girl didn't win though. Since it ended in 2013, I just included in this list

Picked up cuz of adaptation of breast physics game. Staying for Hibari. Mediocre, but I think it'll be fun.

Weird. Nothing really happened.

Not bad. Yozora still a shit.

Wtf am I watching. It's good though.

Vividred Operation
Doesn't take itself seriously. Ridiculous. I liked it.

So on a whim, I just decided to marathon the rest of AnoHana from Ep.3 since that's where I put it on hold for a few months. I picked it up a while back since I heard good things about it, but to my disappointment, I found nothing.

To quote one user on another forum after making a topic about my thoughts on the show, he goes, " 'You have a ghost who can hold things and yet you can't prove she exists until 2/3 of the series in, you DUMBASS- Za Animeshon' " I can honestly say that this is true. There were subtle hints that Menma was there but no one could see that, which is sort of understandable. However, Jintan couldn't think of using the idea that Menma was a ghost to other people by having her write out a message to prove her existence. Surprisingly, it was Menma who came up with that idea towards the END of the series. Honestly...

I'm not too sure if I typed that previous paragraph up the way I wanted to so that people who read it can understand (which I hope, but if not w.e), but anyways...Characters. Characters, of course (IMO), make the show, THE show (na mean?), and the main cast of AnoHana was pretty despicable and/or boring up until the ending to say the least. They were the reason why I couldn't enjoy it. They had some premise early on, but man, when they were fleshed out a bit more before the finale, it's like every character archetype was there...See if you can guess who I'm mentioning. Dumb and reclusive, annoying and crying every ep., obnoxious but lovable, sex appeal, crazy asshole, and "my backstory sucked" Yep. I just couldn't care enough for these characters at all throughout the series. Plus, it just felt like it dragged on every episode. Early on, I felt it was getting somewhere, but it just went downhill for me after that. I honestly wanted the show to get to its conclusion already a little after midway of the series.

IMO, change the name of this anime from, "We Still Don't Know the Name of the Flower We Saw That Day" to "Selfish Desires- The Anime" because that's what it felt like to me throughout the series. I honestly wanted to enjoy the show. The premise was interesting. ut the main cast just made me facepalm throughout the series. Maybe I feel this way because I marathon'd it, I didn't watch it while it was airing, or I was just being too critical while I was watching it. The only good parts I can say about this anime are the OP+ED and the animation. Other than that, it was just a mess that could've been polished up a whole lot.
