5 volumes in, I think it’s really refreshing to see a romance story like this as the character interactions feels very genuine (although Hakui is a dick). The main characters’ backstories are explained in a way that doesn’t feel over the top sappy and
that kiss scene at the end was really heartwarming considering Nakami’s circumstances, hope his relationship with Magari progress further
Concurred, definitely a darker take on the hikikomori culture that’s not seen too often in anime. The protagonist’s struggle and how he “overcome” it felt very genuine and the ending was one of the best I’ve seen.
On the side note, I’ve recently started reading one of your favs, Insomniacs After School.
I'll be honest, not really lol. currently stuck inside an university program and it's like hell not gonna lie but I'm probably gonna celebrate it once I finish on August. not a bad day in the retrospect but when you think about it, birthdays aren't really meant to be celebrated in school if you get my drift.
