Doesnt that defeat the purpose of privacy blockers? They actually can gather enough info they can sometimes identify you as an individual to same degree as not using any privacy extensions lol

I had reported it a while back. It only happens on the people who do that profile trick you did with the tables i think it was? I found if you try to comment on their profile nothing happens. Though maybe something was changed and it doesnt do that now.

Well if an adblocker is built in wouldn't sites not be as easily able to detect an adblocker is being used? Also isn't there a way to prevent sites from even knowing what extensions you have installed?

Oh huh I'm not sure why Disconnect was reported in some places as not having been updated. Still I am not sure why you would use that AND Ghostery. That's just giving you a more unique browser fingerprint to identify.

Yeah I'm not sure why that is. For everyone else I noticed if you post a comment it doesnt go through when on their main page, only on com to com can you write to them.

Ghostery - owned by ad company and you can block trackers with an ad blocker all the same.
Disconnect - Hasn't been updated in five years.
uBlock Origin- seems to be what is embeded into Cromite
Privacy Badger - Im unclear how needed along side uBlock or reliable this is
Decentraleyes- I found this sometimes breaks sites or possibly triggers CloudFlare to boot me but I am unsure on that last part because i only tested this on a very obscure browser that CloudFlare likely hates for it. I heard LocalCDN is better in being updated more often so depends if you websurf a lot.
WebRTC Control - you can control WebRTC through flags, not as convenient though
CSS Exfil Protection - hmmm Cromite failed an exfil test and i dont see exfil settings in flags

IronVest - hmm i could see this as difficult to replace since it does a few things but Privacy has a website and app for virtual cards so i guess there is kind of a workaround but less convenient

hmmmm well three. I dont see a spot for it in the settings. It is Chrome based though so i cant be sure. What kind of extension did you have in mind? Highlighting words brings up "web search" to search using your set search engine. It can be set to disable or enable auto play. It doesnt have a built in pdf reader it seems so you have to use something external i assume this is a security feature. It has a feature where you can select what it clears when you open it which i have it set to erase the cache files when I open it. It also lets you disable screenshots of tabs for their thumbnail image. I get the impression if you asked the devs they might integrate some extension into it if enough people need that functionality assuming if it doesnt compromise privacy

Currently I am trying out Cromite which is a fork of Bromite to keep something maintained. It has a built in ad blocker, a dark reader like forced dark mode, and ability to use user scripts built in (this feature it says is in beta). It is more privacy focused so they have a lot of things disabled but i havent noticed many issues yet with page loading.

no, I started working with them in a /scripts/ folder and spent several days arguing with gimini ai to figure it out for php so shouldn't be hard to get it working for python, I got it adding users that have my @imports on there anime/manga lists so now they get automatically updated for them every 6-12 hours since my shared host only lets me have 5 simultaneous cron jobs every 5 minutes, plus had to make it ignore dupes and save the query in a qfile .txt since the encoded url messes up the cron job shell command so that was a pain in the ass, but the python scripts shouldn't have that issue plus I'll be adding them manually and just have them update every 1 or 2 days.

looks like its working, now I just need to make the info div follow the image

also when I first made it I wanted to have the image follow the cursor instead of fixed at the top left but when I'd scroll down the page the image would get farther and farther away from the mouse, so not sure if that's something you could help with.

it would be more work keeping 1 huge json updated since things like MAL Rewrite exist, MAL changing genres/themes, related entries and people updating old anime with new images, recommendations, reviews and whatever and it would take awhile to load if at all (roughly 4.5 GB) then maintaining many endpoints that give me more info, options and things I can do with them.

got it working, had to clear it's storage so something got corrupted or I messed up adding a site or something.

not that I can think of atm, although not sure if it's just me or a conflict of other scripts I use, but don't think Search Helper's "Show" link is working atm.

I can't give low admin access to just the cron job's, it's full or nothing, but looking at this page for the first time lol it shows the example location can be in my public html so I could give you ftp access and I can manually add cron jobs for whatever script you did make, but eventually I want to have it add cron jobs automatically from my API for when people make custom CSS and it will auto run their url every 6 hours (which is what my cache is set at) so there's no load times.

nevermind, figured it out, read the docs more and setup the oauth "web" app type to get CLIENT_ID and CLIENT_SECRET to auth like chiaki, mal-sync and taiga does then stores the token and refreshes once a month so I only need to "Allow" it once then copy the code from say https://shaggyze.website/auth/ though will need to check why mine needs state cause those other apps just need the code so guessing it automates and verifies somehow, but it's no big deal as I have no plans of making this pretty as a released app and have what it needs to edit _All_ now..

I joined their discord and looked around for a bit, but didn't really try to add the bot or anything, and no I just tried exporting a few users I knew that had a lot, but MAL's import kept failing when I tried importing anime, going to give it another try now.
