My name is Suzanne (Suzy) McHale; I was born in 1970, am female ♀ and I live in Melbourne, Australia. This is my personal domain; a place for my interests and writings, and to leave some evidence of my otherwise-obscure existence.

This Neocities site is a backup and placeholder for my main website at SuzyMcHale.com, if the latter is unavailable. (I can’t direct my domain name to the free version of Neocities, and currently can’t afford paid hosting.)

My Journal is the most frequently updated section (latest entry: 1 April 2025 →).

RuSpace is my original website about the Russian spaceflight program, from which the rest of this ultimately grew over the years. As of September 2024, it is currently “frozen” and no longer updated.

I have uploaded some creative work (art and writing), and a miscellany of opinions on books read, data storage formats, web design (I am not a professional in this, but an amateur hobbyist), and some occasional published letters in newspapers.

There is information about my website (it has been online since 21 September 2003! And is entirely hand-coded), updates (last of note: 7/10/2023) and links to other sites.

The location bar (“breadcrumb trail”) above each page heading can be used to navigate up levels. At the bottom there are links back to this homepage, and also the Site map from which most pages can be accessed.

I have various social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), and a Wordpress landing page but they are not my primary focus, and I rarely use them – my website is. I dislike the walled garden of social media generally (they are extremely aggravating to use), and prefer the “old-fashioned” Internet of personal, handmade websites.
