I think ghost is neat because I can so easily imagine you being like “I had a dream last night that I cut you open and scooped out your organs so I could crawl into your body cavity and zip it back up. I could hear all your individual veins and arteries at work and your blood was really hot— it was like being in a very small, dark hot spring.” And he would say “I think I hauve Covid” while frantically googling nearest courthouse open now right after he got hard so fast that he blacked out for a second.

unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy

I can think of the most beautiful scenery in my head, so gorgeous and illustrious and I think, “This would be great for my story!” I sit down, pull up the doc, and lo and behold, all I write is

Me debating if I should call my old barista job up to see if I can come back. (When I had quit they said I could comeback if I wanted to) because I need money….

Me again debating if going back is worth getting paid low ass pay for shitty hours and getting stalked and being literally afraid to be at my job bcc of it and then my job not even able to like kick the asshole out the store because “he hasn’t put his hands on me”…..

Yea that’s a no long story short
