This inspired me to see if Patricia C. Wrede’s Worldbuilding Questions are still online, and not only are they, they’re on the exact same page I saw them on in 1998. Somewhere there’s a binder of the Word doc I made of all of them and the answers I filled in for Baby’s First Fantasy World

CAT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM ALERT

I'm home now, and I was able to crate all the kittens together, they were very easy, and now they're safe and sound. here are the babies:

- all three are clearly clean and fed, they were dumped down here at a fishing spot by the lake, most likely JUST today, we come here often.

- they're all on the Older side of kitten, basically teenaged, they appear bigger, but are much smaller than my adult cats. they all sound like kittens when they mew.

- none of them appear to be sick.

- they are incredibly, incredibly sweet. these were somebody's cats, they all like to be petted, held, babied, and spoken to. they followed me around.

- they clearly love eachother, and all get along. BEST case scenario would be rehoming them as a trio, because they keep eachother calm and entertained.

An assortment of things Shockwave has done:

• Saw a guy break into the Senate, decided the guy was hot pretty cool and should be the next leader, so Shockwave saved his crush’s the guy’s life and performed non-consensual body modification surgery on the guy while he was unconscious
• Found a ship full of amnesiacs and decided it would be really funny to implant fake memories, then brainwashed them into believing they were other people (including a guy he brainwashed into thinking he was Shockwave), and set them loose and watched them like a reality tv show
• Had a horrible backstory where he got his face and hands chopped off and emotions forcefully removed because he tried to expose corruption in the government. Upon traveling back in time millions of years before his creation, arranged events so that he would get his face and hands chopped off and emotions removed in the future
• Created a prophecy about his coworker that was entirely false because he wanted to fuck with his coworker and make said coworker think he was the Chosen One
• Time traveled into the past and encountering a guy who would become the equivalent of Jesus, immediately decided to kill robot Jesus and modify his own body to impersonate robot Jesus
• Invented religion for the sole purpose of destroying religion in the future. Arranged events to make his crush archnemesis be hailed as the second coming of Jesus so Shockwave could appear out of nowhere and prove it was false
• Became evil after getting his emotions removed. Got his emotions back and proceeded to be MORE evil
• A fandom saying: “There’s Satan, and then there’s Shockwave.”
