    AI is not new—it’s been around for decades. In fact when I finished school (a looooooong time ago 😃 ) I contemplated choosing a still nascent AI curriculum that was on offer at the time as part of Computer Sciences. How I ended up in law school and only got back to AI decades later, is a different story… Until quite recently, and even today, many automated bots are of poor quality, causing more customer frustration than delight. But that’s no longer the case as Gen-AI really delivers astounding quality. In fact, it feels like a true humane interaction. Companies, however are still stuck on how to start their AI-journey. Therefore, the Trengo tribe has worked incredibly hard to not only embrace the power of AI, but to incorporate it into an accessible and easily adoptable product for our customer base. We firmly believe that customer-facing teams shouldn’t have to be tech-savvy to get started. And with Trengo they don’t need to be.   • This summer, the Trengo team had the incredible opportunity to support the amazing team at A18 Fondazione. 💪❤️ A18's work is centred around providing support to the families of autistic adults in Sardinia. Families often struggle when an autistic family member reaches adulthood, and care is still required, but state support drops off. That's where A18 steps in to provide a community where sons, daughters, sisters, and brothers can thrive and connect with others. Together with A18, the Trengo team was able to offer a summer of fun, connectivity, and communication for A18 residents on the beach. 🏝️ A huge thank you to everyone at A18 for their dedication and passion for providing the right conditions for these families to thrive.✨

    At the start of this year I wrote about my New Year’s resolution to reduce my data on servers, especially as I learnt that the Global cloud computing emissions exceed those from commercial aviation. Some practical tips how I have gone about this (in no particular order): Clean up ▶ Filter your inbox and Cloud photos for the largest files. Delete the ones you really don’t need ▶ Filter your inbox for commonly used retailers, such as Bol.com or Booking.com. So many of their notifications just linger in your inbox and can be bulk deleted ▶ Filter your inbox for notifications of your (work) software tools and bulk delete the outdated ones ▶ Use the tools provided to remove duplicate images/ videos from your phone and Cloud photo storage ▶ Repeat this exercise a few times a month Reduce amount saved ➡ Review what emails your are subscribed to and whether you really need these (often a purchase at a website immediately registers you for marketing email- make sure you unsubscribe) ➡ Once you read an email you are subscribed to, immediately delete afterwards. The content of most lives on the web somewhere already ➡Review where you get notifications. Eg Linkedin sending you updates of what’s happening in your account, all the booking and tracking updates from retailers. Do you really need them when all that info is also visible in your account? ➡ Check on your phone settings, does it automatically save all Whatsapp messages and then synch to the cloud? Do you need/ want it to? ➡ People are used to continue taking photos/ selfies until they have ‘ the perfect one’. Any time you take a series choose 1 best one and delete the rest ➡ After an event people enjoying sharing their photos. Go for a shared album instead of sharing via Whatsapp or other. Avoid duplicate photos This is a small time investment that could make big impact if many embrace these habits. Just like you de-clutter your house every so often, please also declutter your server space. Do you incorporate any of these habits and can you suggest more simple tips that can help reduce our data storage waste?
