Green Table 🌱
during winter most of my plants rest and recharge. Not much new growth, some lost leaves. This is normal! But now spring is right around the corner. The days are getting longer and brighter again and the sun is out more. To give the table a little boost, I remove all the leaves that didnt make it, trim some plants and add some new ones into the bald spots. We are ready for spring and summer now! 🌱 #plantcare #planttable #plantdiy #spring #plantinspo
Rubber Plant Varieties
There are many Rubber plant varieties to choose from in the Ficus genus. Most of the common varieties are of Ficus elastica. However a few belong to Ficus altissima or Ficus benghalensis. Ficus is a species in the family Moraceae (Mulberry Family) and native to eastern parts of South and Southeast Asia. Variegated Rubber Plants are definitely some of my favorite all time houseplants. Specifically because they are so beautiful and very low-maintenance.

5 Plants That Need Extra Humidity to Thrive
Learn more at the link! Calatheas, Alocasias, Begonias, and Bird of Paradises are all prone to brown edges if they don’t get around 60% relative humidity. How do you provide that? 1) Humidifier - You want to look for an ultrasonic cool mist humidifier so water doesn’t collect on surfaces. 2) Cabinets/Terrariums - These are a great way to conserve humidity without needed to add water to anything. Just remember to air it out once in a while or else it will get funky, especially if it’s a smaller container. Want to learn more about how to help your plants thrive? I’m sharing all the tips I wish I knew from the beginning that have proven to improve plant health in my digital guide. Click the link to find it!
