People usually mean well when they say they "recovered" from being an introvert, or that they "got over it." They don't mean to disparage introversion. But it does. It's more likely the person was shy/had social anxiety, and/or they were never introverted to begin with. What's true more often than not is that the person learned how to honor their introvert energy + it gave them more energy to be social. Or they learned skills that supported more outgoing behaviors. That's all healthy and good!
