Decoupage decor

I've had this unused vintage linen union in my fabric stash for years so it's amazing to see it finally transformed into something that hopefully others can enjoy! The fabric is from Arthur Sanderson & Sons and the design, which dates from the 1950s, is "Kleinwort', is now sadly discontinued. The pattern features a bouquet of blousy pink roses and chrysanthemums with other flowers and foliage set on a deep green background - just stunning! I've teamed it with a remnant of unused vintage moss green velvet on the back that coordinates perfectly. There's a zip to enable the cushion cover to be removed for laundering, dry cleaning recommended. Size 48cm x 48cm. This is a beautiful tapestry with a floral bouquet design. Reminiscent of something much older, I think this was made in the 1980s. Mohawk brand, it is an acrylic/polyester blend front and a 100% black cotton backing. It has some kind of board or stiff piece in the bottom of the tapestry to help it hang nicely. It has a rod pocket in the top, too, for hanging. It is in excellent condition without issues. Made in USA but called "Dutch Floral". Perfect for your vintage decor!
