Light source. I’ve ignored this in the past ignored and that was a huge mistake.

You need to see which direction the predominant source of light is. If you have multiple windows like I do, use your best judgment. You want to roll in the direction of the most light.
Any overlaps will essentially become shadows when you roll in the wrong direction.

Unless you are a pro, flat paint is your best bet for paint finish. It’s like a concealer for mistakes and will give you the best outcome for a beginner. I used @behrpaint scuff defense

Do not dry roll. Dry rolling is when you are not using enough paint or you re-roll over an area that’s somewhat dry.
