I just completed a little art project with our Grade 1 students using Adobe Ideas iPad App. After reading a few Todd Parr books, Ms Krause's class decided they wanted to draw some Todd Parr self portraits. projects in our classroom. When we're doing an art project in
our classroom such as these self portraits, I explicitly
model each step after explaining the step. Then the
students do the step on their own. This means that all of the
work being created is unique and individual and it's all the
students' work. There are no patterns, no templates which
means nothing is the same. So we're not getting any cookie
cutter artwork. We're getting each student's unique
perspective on their artwork. So in this video we're actually
