Hippie Era (1960's)

It's all about peace & free love Hippy was more down town down home and hand made. drop out, tune out and tune in, man. They liked jeans and peasant and gypsy skirts, tie dye, bright colours, all natural materials, nothing synthetic. Hippies grew their hair long and wore lots and lots of beads and symbols dangling from the strands of beads, the peace symbol being the most popular. They lived in large loose groups known as communes and grew their own food, made their own beads and tie dyed shirts
