Stretching the back of the knee 🦵🏽 It is extremely important to achieve a fully straightened knee to help with walking, decrease limping, and optimize movement ☝🏽 If your knee doesn’t go all the way straight, it could be for a couple of reasons: ✨ muscle tightness from strength imbalances ✨ bakers cyst (fluid filled sac behind the knee) ✨ knee swelling from overactivity, muscle imbalances, etc ✨ not using the range of motion There are of course other reasons but these are the main reasons that I typically come across 👀 This movement may not be the most comfortable at first so please use sparingly when first getting started. Starting with 1-2 minutes or up to 10 repetitions can be helpful ☝🏽 The idea is to help stretch the muscles bending the knee with some dynamic movement
