Herby Sausages and smokey bacon in a garlicky tomato sauce, topped with cheesey sliced potatoes.... It's a proper hearty, great big cuddle of a dinner. It's the sort of dinner you need on stormy days and sad days and 'just in need of a bit of comfort' days. This is my kind of Winter food. Don't be put off by the long(ish) list of ingredients. I reckon that you've probably got at least half of this stuff already I have written up the recipe for this below - I would love to know what you think of this one, A x #onepanmeal #recipes #recipesideas #familyfood #dinnerideas #homemade #cosy #comfortfood #delicious #bacon #sausagerecipes #familyfoid #dinnerinspo #Christmas #christmasideas | Amy Sheppard
65K views · 1.1K reactions | Crockpot Cheesy Boursin Potato Casserole | Crockpot Cheesy Boursin Potato Casserole | By Robyn Q | Alright, I've got two packages of boarsome cheese. I am going to press that through to make it into small pieces. I'm pouring in one cup of milk and I've got eight ounces of sour cream. We're going to whisk that together until we get that all combined. Pouring in one package of frozen hash browns and I've got a half a cup of some diced green onions. I'm going to grab a handful of cheddar cheese and sprinkle that right in and save the rest for the top. I've got some salt and some pepper. We're going to stir this around again so we can get that all combined. We're going to pour that right into our Crock Pot which I grease and then I'm just going to spread that out with my spoon so I have a even layer. Have that leftover cheese and I'm going to sprinkle that right on top of that. You can cook this for two to three hours on high or four to five hours on low. Alright, our Crockpot Boursin Cheesy Potatoes are done. Oh, yes. Look at that. Look how well that cooked and just two hours on high for me. Yarnish with a little bit of green onion. The cheesier the better I think. Mm. Absolutely cooked perfectly. It is delicious. Yum.
276K views · 4.1K reactions | Easy, Cheesey Croissant Breakfast Bake | Easy, Cheesey Croissant Breakfast Bake | By Robyn Q | Alright, that's six ounces of cream cheese that I added to my croissants. I'm just going to spread that out into an even layer. You just want to make sure that that covers our bottom of our croissants. We're going to add some bagel seasoning to each of these. I'm just going to sprinkle a little bit on. You definitely could add a different seasoning if you're not a fan of this but I am a huge fan of the Everything bagel seasoning. We're going to add our tops on to our croissants. Alright, the next thing we want to do for that easy breakfast bake is we're just going to cut our croissant into four pieces. Alright, last one. Just cutting that into fours. Just like that. Super easy. Okay, let's set this aside and I've got a nine by thirteen baking dish and we are just going to brush it with butter just all over the bottom and a little bit on the sides. Alright, our pan is coated. So, I'm just going to slide in those croissants that we cut and we just are going to add them to our buttered dish. Right. I've got some bacon that I cooked. I've got six slices. We are going to slice that up. You definitely could use breakfast sausage if you want to or ham. Whatever you like. We're just going to start sprinkling that right on top of that croissant. Alright next we're going to make our egg mixture. We're going to bring in our bowl and I have got six eggs that we are going to add to our bowl. Add milk to this. I have one cup of milk. We're going to add some fresh thyme. You definitely could do parsley, whatever you like. You're just going to whisk that together until those eggs are mixed in with that milk. You definitely can add dried herbs if you want to. If you don't have fresh herbs, I still have fresh herbs. So, I'm pretty excited about that. We're just going to add that egg mixture right on top of our croissants. Pour it all over. We have to have some cheese or at least my family believes we do so and I do too. So, I have a couple of shredded cheddar cheese. I have my oven set at 375 degrees and this is only going to take 25 to 30 minutes. I can't wait for you to see it. Alright, our easy croissant breakfast bake is done and I'm just going to sprinkle it with that leftover thyme that we have. Oh, you can hear that. Mm mm mm. Cut into this. Be good. Under that. Oh you can see all that cream cheese. Okay. That's what I like. Look at that cream cheese. You can see the egg in there. Easy croissant breakfast bake. Absolutely delicious. Yum.
222K views · 3.6K reactions | Apple croissant french toast bake | Apple croissant french toast bake | By Robyn Q | Alright, I have some croissants that I cut in half and I'm just taking some cream cheese that I mixed with a half a teaspoon of cinnamon and some powdered sugar. So, made some homemade cinnamon cream cheese. Put the tops right on top of our croissants. Then, we're going to cut our croissants into four. Super easy. The fun thing about this recipe is you can make it whatever flavor you want. I'm doing cinnamon this time I've done strawberry, lemon. There's so many options out there. Alright, we are going to place those cut up pieces of croissant inside of a nine by 13 dish that I greased. Just place them in there until they're nice and snug. Alright, we have two eggs, half a cup of powdered sugar, one and a half cups of milk and just one more ingredient for this and that's just a little bit of some vanilla. Just a dab. Okay, we're going to whisk that together until everything is combined. Making sure to break those eggs up. My nine by 13 dish back over and we're going to pour this right on top of our croissant. We are going to cover this with some foil and we're going to put this in the refrigerator for about eight to 10 hours and tomorrow morning, we're going to finish this. Good morning. Okay, our apple croissant french toast has been setting overnight in the refrigerator. I've had it setting on the counter for a while to warm up to at that. Looks great. Time to put it in the oven. I have my oven set at 350 degrees. We're going to bake it covered for 30 minutes uncovered for another 20 to 30 minutes till it's nice and brown and that liquid is absorbed. Alright, while our apple croissant french toast is in the oven. We are going to make our apple toppings. So, I have a fourth of a cup of butter that I melted and I sliced pretty thinly, three apples. I'm using honey crisp and we're just going to keep cooking this until our apples start to become tender and then we'll add a few more ingredients. Alright, our apples are becoming tender. We are going to mix together one half cup water with a couple teaspoons of some cornstarch. Just like that. We'll mix that together and then we will drizzle that right on top of those apples. This will help thicken up that sauce. Okay, we're going to put a half a cup of some brown sugar in and just one more thing but a half a teaspoon of cinnamon or as much as you like. So, this will only take about a couple minutes until that sauce is completely done. I'm just going to bring it up to a boil. Okay, look at that. Our easy apple topping. Alright, our apple croissant french toast is done. It is crispy. You can hear that. Oh yeah. So I'm going to get myself a nice big piece of this. Oh yeah. You can see the layers of that cream cheese in there. We're going to top that with that apple topping that we made. Just like that. You can add as much or as little as you like. For fun. I'm going to add a little whipping cream from Trader Joe's right on top of that. And then sprinkle with a little bit of cinnamon. You can see it's a little hot yet but I can't wait. Oh well. Mm. So good. You have to make this and send me in the comments a picture of yours. Yum.
