Creating a reading nook
Removed a dry bar we never used and replaced it with a reading nook set between two arches. The beautiful hardwood door was $75 on Facebook marketplace and the cushion is 8" memory foam in a kantha quilt. I painted the landscapes of my neighborhood. The hardwood floor pieces were free in the junk bin I just had to figure out how to match the stain. Love this space now.
Fireplace Fixup
Love the gas fireplace with the remote control, don't like the tiles or the dark shiny color. Had the tiles handpainted to look like Delft tiles representing animals in my life that I see on the farm. Cost for tiles $188! Thanks, Etsy. Then reframed the fireplace and painted it Ben Moore Linen White which looks good with everything.
Little bath reno
Took an antique handmade dresser I found for under $200, added a small Kohler sink and taps, painted the walls a richer green and kept the vintage hunt country shade and matched it with a vintage Turkish rug.
