W. 80th Reno

The ideas I used to renovate my co-op on the UWS in NYC. Purchased in 2014, I did much of the work, from hiring the architect to the contractor, remotely. Chose every tile, every fixture, every paint color, the limewash formula for the brick, the velvet De Padova sofa. First bought two of these sofas in 1998 when I lived in Italy). They stand the test of time. Worked around some serious personnel problems. Ask me about the gal selling my bed on the internet 🤡

Lime washed brick
I researched the antique formula for lime washing brick and used it here, as opposed to paint which is always a no. The white marble fireplace is unfortunate, but I did not choose that. A far better option would have been a reclaimed marble or wood fireplace from a salvage yard.
De Padova sofa: bought the first one in Italy in 1998
My NYC co-op that I designed. The ugly plastic stuff (imagine sitting in those chairs at that table 🙄) and pseudo hipster stuff was realtor staging. I chose the DiPadova sofa (first one I bought was in 1998) and the Farrow & Ball paints.
Master bedroom
Bedroom of my NYC co-op featuring antique dresser I bought in Dallas and Farrow & Ball paint colors I also used in my Amsterdam house. terrible candles in the fireplace not my idea - done for staging.
