Lindsay Budnik ♡ Pre-K Teacher on Instagram: "My Pre-K friends have had fun playing this quick, easy and fun matching number game this week! I have 22 friends so I went up to 11 this week and created cards with the numeral on one half of the card and the same number set of dots on the other and cut them in half. I mixed them up and gave each student one card. They walked around the room looking for the match to their card 🖤 If they had a numeral, they were looking for the dot card that matched. If they had a set of dot cards, they were looking for the numeral that matched! Once they found their match, they went to the carpet with thier partner. The “headbands” are old bulletin board borders. The sentences are taken from our OG lessons. I wrote them on strips of card stock and passed them out. Each student used a clothespin to attach their sentence. They walked around reading 4-5 sentences. Then I had them pair up with the last partner they were with. On whiteboards or paper they dictated the sentence that was on their partner’s headband for them to write out. Then they checked for accuracy with spelling, capitalization and punctu Sentence Formation Activities, Kinds Of Sentences Activities, Build A Sentence Activity, Forming Sentences Activities, Expanding A Sentence, Capitalization Activities, Teaching Sentence Writing, Kinds Of Sentences, Structured Literacy
