St James’s Palace Development – Katharine Pooley Luxury Interior Design and Interior Architecture London UK
The Pantone 2025 colour of the year is ‘Mocha Mousse’ a delightful fawn hue with a touch of rose gold in it. I am compiling a newsletter showing this colour in a range of our recent projects but for the moment here it is on the walls of the Master Bedroom suite of our London St James project in a beautiful hand-painted silk wallpaper inspired by the rich textural warmth of travertine stone. #wallpaper #pantone #colouroftheyear2025 #mochamousse #stjamess

Kuwait Villa Details
Today's newsletter is drawing upon the colourful turquoise accents that were a running theme throughout our project in Kuwait. Many of the turquoise columns in the villa are formed using oxidised copper with a fresh hand-painted finish and certain elements had additional gold leaf detailing. The turquoise encrusted cabinet is a vintage Kam Tin from 1981.
Kuwait Villa
Thank you so much @mayfair.times for a wonderful interview spotlighting me as a leading interior designer in the Middle East. Here I am pictured in one of the five projects I completed in spring of this year. This property is particularly special to me as I have worked with the client, (now a close friend) for over a decade sourcing beautiful antiques, art and objets worldwide, this project has evolved over many years and has been so wonderful to see develop slowly over time!
