Italian Pavilion by Katharine Pooley
The scope of works was large in scale and encompassed façade alterations, internal layout amendments and a total refit of all finishes, fixtures and furnishings at our French Chateau Project in Cannes. The building and gardens were stripped completely back and then carefully restored to their original splendour. The Italian Pavilion is one of the spaces very close to my heart and perfectly captures the timeless beauty of the rest of the Chateau and gardens.

The terraces of the formal Italianate Gardens stretch out to one side of our South of France project. A team of incredibly dedicated and knowledgeable gardeners work year-round to keep these exquisite gardens at their best and to maintain the marvellous array of plants and flowers in perfect condition. Their expertise ensures that the gardens remain a stunning showcase of classic design, with meticulously manicured hedges, vibrant flowerbeds, and serene water features to enchant every visitor.

A dreamy bathroom from our recent project—what could be more fabulous than a circular freestanding bath overlooking the serene azure blue of the Mediterranean below? We spent a great deal of time creating precise architectural drawings and specifying finishes and fittings to ensure a feeling of total harmony and graceful balance. It is wonderful to have one of my all-time favourite bathrooms featured in @AD_magazine.

Our extensive redesign transformed the area overlooking the sea, restoring symmetry by extending the property's wings. This allowed for the creation of a spacious ballroom on one side and a dining room on the other. Throughout the property, hallways and door openings were aligned, ensuring unobstructed views. The layout was carefully planned around the client's impressive art collection, showcasing works by #Picasso, #Banksy, #Rothko, and #Miro.

One of my favourite recent KP projects in the ME, this family home overlooks its own white sand private beach and the interior and architectural detailing takes inspiration from the surrounding sea views. Stand out details include overlapping ellipses of Italian marble in the double height entrance hall and a 250 piece chandelier sculpted by hand from fine bone china and gold in the dining room.

Throwback to completing our Dubai project in a beautiful villa on The Palm, it full of luxurious detailing. The view from every room was extraordinary, there was turquoise blue water as far as the eye can see. Throwback to our villa in Tuscany as featured in the @timesproperty, this was such at beautiful location and building for our wonderful Washington-based American clients. My favourite parts? It had to be the numerous terraces which overlooked the olive and lemon groves set into the rolling Tuscan hillside below 🫒🍋

A detail of a Swiss Ski Chalet we completed earlier this year. The colour palette is fresh and light toned with accents of blue to reflect the views of the surrounding Swiss alps. This was a brilliant project, the chalet itself spans over 5 floors so it was an incredible space work with for our wonderful client and his young family.
