We decided to cut the (huge) master closet in half in order to make room for these bunks, which are located in the hallway behind the closet. We added these bunks for the following reasons: 1. As you know, we ended up moving into this house, but at the original plan was to rent it out. These bunks allow our home to sleep two additional guests which increases the rental rate. 2. More beds in the home will help with resale, as most prospective buyers in our neighborhood are looking for a short term rental investment.
