6/100 The 100 Day Project Over the weekend when we were in Oswego for my daughter’s swim meet we stopped in Lemont for lunch. There we saw an old neon Blatz Beer sign. It was super cool and I really wanted to see it lit up at night, but after my daughter swam finals we were exhausted from the long day and we went home. Tonight I wanted to capture a neon sign, so my family and I hopped in the car and went searching. The few signs that I could think of were not lit up tonight for some reason....

Day 5/100 The 100 Day Project Today is Wrigley’s 8th birthday! We are so grateful for all the extra time we’ve gotten with him so far. When he was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma in August 2023 they told us we would get a few more weeks—months if we were lucky—with him. After his surgery to remove the HSA lesion, we decided to get him scans and bloodwork every 3 months and to put him on several off-label-use medications that have been shown to be effective in shrinking HSA tumors in humans a...

I got my @Spoonflower Design Challenge entry in just under the wire! This design really put me through it. I learned that since I love paisley, I should spend more time working with it! I got my @Spoonflower Design Challenge entry in just under the wire! This design really put me through it. I learned that since I love paisley, I should spend more time working with it! I went back and forth quite a bit on the colorway for this design I submitted to the @spoonflower Sophisticated Stripes design challenge and I landed here. Looking at my design I kept thinking of strands of pearls--especially in the blue and coral colorways, so I went with this one.
