The Rural South (watch your back Boy!)

I call this "the Pure South" ( because the Yankee Transplants don't dare move in to these areas) it has remained purely Southern and has stayed the same since it had been settled, These regions are definitely not apart of the "New South" where you'll find New York and California Transplants living here *Cough* Atlanta *Cough*, the rural south has stayed in the "Old South" these are the backwoods, the small towns who still proudly fly Confederate flags South, Poor Farmers, backwards cops, decaying cotton mills, the numerous old plantations-with their proud old families who uphold their Ancestral past and traditions, the rural south is in decrepit state of decay and tense hostility, this is the area where outa town Colored folks and Yankees have to watch their backs, their lives depend on it, and this is Pure Confederate country, Proud but poverty stricken Southerners who don't take to kindly to outsiders, there are some roads that haven't even been paved with cement, roads that have stayed the same since antebellum days. Cotton is still king, Farming is still the way of life. Yes mam and no sir can be heard, Jesus Is Lord, blacks still tilt their head when a white man passes by. the KKK and the hillbillies live in these parts. Folks I welcome you to Rural Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas, Arkansas and any other rural part of the South.
