We used the @behrpaint house and fence wood stain in the color slate. It does radiate a little bit of heat, but honestly, I’ve seen my plants explode with massive growth near the fence. I think that they like the extra heat. it was super easy to paint. We did use a paint sprayer which is the method that I would recommend. We had tried using a roller to take forever! Spend $100 and buy a paint sprayer off of Amazon. Trust me! We bought the Home Right paint sprayer and it’s amazing.
