Every year, Institut d’Estudis Catalans (Institution for Catalan Studies) in Barcelona celebrates the International Year of the Periodic Table with a small festival in its chemistry department. Local studio LEÓN ROMERO was invited to design the identity for its 2019 edition, which also marked the 150th anniversary of the periodic table as we know it.
