Second grade halloween art projects

I was pretty happy with the web results from second grade! Here are how a few turned out-

These chalk pastel ghosts were a lesson in drapery. We worked on large 26x18 in sheets of paper, rendering the folds of a sheet over a basketball perched on a stool! These spooky ghosts were done by kids ages 10-14 at Art Spot Studio.

This was a really fun, fast and furious one day art project I did last week with my mixed Grade 4-6 art class. With Halloween being one my students’ favorite times of year, I am always coming up with new Halloween art ideas. I have taught Halloween lessons including cute monsters, witches, haunted houses, spooky cats and pumpkins all while still teaching students new art vocabulary or introducing them to new art techniques.
