321K views · 39K reactions | The yummiest holiday treat, Butter Toffee Pretzels! So perfect for holiday hosting, gifting or bringing to a gathering! RECIPE: Pretzels (about 8 oz) 1 cup salted butter 1 cup brown sugar  1 tbsp vanilla extract 1 cup chocolate chips or extra toffee pieces like Heath (optional) Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring continuously until it gently boils. Add in the vanilla extract and continue to stir, allowing it to boil for one minute. Spread your pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle the toffee mixture over the pretzels, coating them evenly.  Place them in the oven for 10-15 minutes until they are bubbly.  If you are adding chocolate chips or heath, do it while they are warm so the chocolate gets melty. And let them cool. #christmas #holidaydecor #christmasrecipes | Brandi Bowman Putnam

Comment “Top Ten” and I’ll send you the link to my recipes for homemade versions of the most popular chocolate bars. ➡️Follow me for recipes and chocolate techniques. Making butter crunch toffee is pretty easy just be careful to set your temperature on medium and take it off the burner when it is a golden amber colour and add the vanilla and baking soda. Stir and pour into a lined 16x10 inch pan and spread thin. You likely will not fill the entire pan. Here is my recipe 2 cup white sugar 1 cup salted butter 1 tsp Vanillla 1/4 tsp baking soda Combine the sugar and butter in a non stick pan and continuously stir until a golden amber colour or 290 F. Even if it gets grainy just keep stirring until it changes and comes clear and a golden colour. Take off the burner and add the vanilla and baking soda, stir, and pour into a 16x10 inch pan lined with parchment paper. Skor if desired when still hot. Cool and dip into tempered chocolate and sprinkle with chopped almonds. Or leave as is and just break it up into pieces later, it’s also good to use as a delicious topping or in desserts. ➡️I have 10 recipes that I have perfected over the years of copycat chocolate bars such as Mars, Twix, Snickers, Oh Henry, and a few of my own combinations that I think pair well together. The recipe book, “Top 10 Chocolate Bars” that I sold in my Chocolate Shop is now up in my link in my profile. #buttercrunchtoffee #chocolaterecipes #chocolatetechniques #smallbusiness #digitalproducts #bakersofinstagram #smallbusinessowner #homebakeryshop #baking #homebusiness | Sheryl Cameron

5.8K views · 7.2K reactions | Homemade Caramel Ingredients: - 4 cups of sugar - 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter - 2 cups white corn syrup - 1 tsp salt - 2 cans of evaporated milk (12 oz each) - Salt for sprinkling (optional) Instructions: 1. Prepare the pan: Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper, ensuring the paper extends over the sides for easy removal later. 2. Cook the sugar mixture: In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, combine the sugar, butter, white corn syrup, and salt. Stir constantly over medium heat until the mixture comes to a boil. 3. Add evaporated milk: Gradually add the evaporated milk, a little at a time, stirring continuously. This process should take about 10 minutes per can. Make sure to maintain a steady, gentle boil while stirring. 4. Monitor temperature: Once all the milk is incorporated, place a candy thermometer in the mixture. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until the caramel reaches between 235°F and 238°F (soft ball stage). This step ensures your caramel has the perfect chewy texture—neither too sticky nor too hard. *Tip: You can test the caramel by dropping a small amount into cold water. If it forms a soft, pliable ball that flattens when pressed, it’s ready. 5. Pour the caramel: Once the caramel reaches the proper temperature, immediately pour it into the prepared pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly if necessary. 6. Add finishing touches: Sprinkle a little salt over the top if you'd like a salted caramel version. 7. Cool and set: Let the caramel cool at room temperature until firm. Then, refrigerate it for 1 hour to ensure it fully sets and is easier to cut. 8. Cut and wrap: Once chilled, lift the caramel out of the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into squares or desired shapes. Wrap each piece in wax paper or plastic wrap to keep them fresh. Storage: Store wrapped caramels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. #HomemadeCaramel #CaramelRecipe #SoftCaramel #CandyMaking #SweetTreats #DessertLovers #SaltedCaramel #FallBaking #CandyRecipes #EasyCaramel | TinkoStars
