Jeff Erickson

The paintings of Jeff Erickson. Minimal abstracts, mostly, uses oil and cold wax on panel. Colour field style of composition, horizontal lines and rarely verticals, or visual anchors. Drips evident. Gorgeous subtle colour palette - similar to that of Monet's impressionistic early morning haystacks series, Erickson's titles seem based on real world influences. Works large around 1m+ or small 25cm. The smaller works may be sketches in progress?
