Urania (Οὐρανία, Ourania; meaning “heavenly” or “of heaven”) is the “Muse of Astronomy” in Greek mythology. She is the daughter of Zeus and also a great granddaughter of Uranus. She dresses in a cloak embroidered with stars and keeps her eyes and attention focused on the heavens. Urania is also able to foretell the future by the arrangement of the stars.
