Take 1 1/2 pounds ground beef and mix in 1 envelope onion soup mix, salt, pepper, burger seasoning, 2 TBSP worshire sauce, and 1 TBSP liquid smoke. 2. Flatten your meat mixture into a cooking sheet. 3. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. 4. Take out and drain the fat. 5. Chop and onion and put around your meat and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. 6. Take out and put your onions on top and then top with cheese. Put back in oven until cheese is melted. Just a couple minutes. Take back out and add French fried onions. Return to oven for a few minutes. 7. Take out and take a couple spatulas and place your meat on your buns(just one in one giant patty). I used kings Hawaiian slider buns. The 12 pack it fits the meat perfectly. 8. Melt 2 TBSP butter with 3 tsp minced garlic. Spread your butter on top of the burger. Return to oven for just 5 minutes or until desired. 9. Cut with a pizza cutter. 10. Let me know how you do it, comment below 👇🏼 Enjoy this delicious Saturday afternoon sandwich 🇮🇹🧑‍🍳 Sausage & Peppers Recipe: Prep Time: 15 min Cook Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes (low and slow) Serves: 6-8 Ingredients: 10 sweet Italian sausage links (cut into halves) 3 large yellow onion sliced 3 large red bell peppers (thin sliced) 3 large green bell peppers (thin sliced) 4 tablespoons of onion powder 3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil Salt & Pepper to taste 1 15 oz can of San Marzano hand crushed Tomatoes 1 8 oz can hunts tomato sauce (mixed in with diced tomatoes) 1 cup of water Directions: Cut sausage in half, place on roasting pan, sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil and salt, onion powder, pepper, add cup up onions and peppers (that have been sliced), add and top with crushed San Marzano tomatoes and tomato sauce with 1 cup of water, top with olive oil, cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour covered with tin foil, then remove tin foil and cook for an additional 30 minutes uncovered, turning occasionally to brown all sides of sausage. NOTE: for best results cook low and slow. Ready to serve, can be served as a sandwich on a lengthwise roll or as a main dish.
