Elizabeth Stafford, Duchess of Norfolk (1494 - 1558). Second wife of Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk. She was one of the two godmothers of the future Queen Elizabeth I. Her marriage was unhappy as her husband lived openly with his mistress and had Elizabeth imprisoned.

Anne of Denmark Anne was born on 14 October 1574, at Skanderborg Castle, in Denmark. She was the daughter of Sophie of Mecklenburg-Güstrow (4 September 1557 - 14 October 1631) and Frederick II, King of Denmark and Norway (1 July 1534 - 4 April 1588).
Anne of Denmark by Paul Van Somer Anne died on 4 March 1619, at Hampton Court Palace. She was buried on 13 May 1619, in King Henry's Chapel, Westminster Abbey. After the death of his wife, King James wrote in respect: "So did my Queen from hence her court remove And left off earth to be enthroned above. She's changed, not dead, for sure no good prince dies, But, as the sun, sets, only for to rise."

Mary II of England (1662 - 1694). Princess of Orange from 1677 until her death in 1694. Queen of England from 1689 until 1694. She was married to William III and together to took the crown of England from her Catholic father, James II.
George FitzRoy (1665 - 1716). Son of King Charles II and Barbara Palmer. He married Catherine Wheatley but soon tired of her and tried to force her into a convent. After her death he married Mary Dutton.

James FitzJames (1670 - 1734). Son of King James II and Arabella Churchill. He married Honora de Burke and had one son. After her death he married Anne Bulkeley and had ten children.
Mary Beatrice of Modena (1658 - 1718). Second wife of James II. Queen from 1685 - 1688. When she gave birth to a son her stepdaughter's husband invaded to take over and avoid a Catholic succession. She had two children, who she raised in France after their flight from England.
James Scott, Duke of Monmouth (1649 - 1685). Son of King Charles II and Lucy Walter. He married Anne Scott and had eight children. In his father's reign he spread rumors that his parents had been married, and that he was the rightful heir to the throne. He father banished him but during the reign of James II he tried to overthrow the king and was executed.
