I really enjoy building these bigger pieces out of soft muddy clay. However, it‘s always accompanied by risks that I don‘t encounter when building cups. Many many times they don‘t survive, come out of the kiln with cracks after glaze firing or simply collapsing in my hands just by lifting them. These belong to my beginners and are all exceptional boxes with locking lids. I was especially impressed with the glazing details, the kids are finally getting comfortable and familiar with the very difficult task of glazing their pots.
