Cells using silicone on acrylic paint

Isn’t that super satisfying to watch? 😍 Pour painting with cells created using a silicone oil. To create this cute effect I have used acrylic paint from 2 different brands mixed with cell activator and water to make the paint consistency same between all colours. Next I’ve poured everything over a canvas using a flip cup fluid art technique. To create cells I’ve dropped silicone oil on top of the poured acrylic paint. The important thing is to clean up all the silicone oil that will stay on top

When was the last time you saw me using pour painting techniques? Months right? I’ve been focusing on inks and texture lately and stopped pouring paint. Not because I don’t like it anymore, but because I don’t have time for all the wonderful painting techniques out there 😃 I like to keep things interesting and switch techniques often. I shared with you a photo of this mini pour painting a few days ago. Today I want to share with you a video of adding gold details to the painting using a 3D embossing glue pen for precision and a gold foil for a beautiful shine. Galaxy acrylic pour painting with gold 3D lines. I love creating Galaxy inspired art and pour painting is a perfect technique to do it. This was made using my favourite flip cup and stretch technique on a rectangular canvas. I have then used embossing glue and gold foil to add details.
