Diwali shopping: Exploring the street side shops at the local market.
I live in old Bangalore and the market is bustling before diwali You can buy things starting just Rs. 10/-. Rangoli stickers, diyas, torans, chowkis, you name it, you can find it. What you are seeing is the Malleshwaram 8th Cross market and around it. I got myself some rangoli stencils and stickers, stay tuned to see what I do with it. #DiwaliKiRoshni
DIY Diya Tower
I converted This tall wooden candle/plant stand into a diya tower for this Diwali. I used brass lamps that have hanging bars with screw holes and half-inch screws. Then it was just a matter of fixing them with a screwdriver. You can click on the link for the video tutorial. #DiwaliKiRoshni

Simple ideas to make your side table festive
Filling an urli with loose flowers can look stunning and is so simple to achieve. Add some newspaper to the bottom so you don't have to use a lot of flowers. Fill them up and place where you like. If you have a larger bowl, place a Tlight inside. #DiwaliKiRoshni
