Hi @VIGNERON, thanks for taking the time to report this!
@VIGNERON: Did you add Wikisource-Community-User-Group (see https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/profile/1334/ ) intentionally? Did you talk to Tpt before assigning?
Which exact problem is this task trying to solve? Also see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug
Hi @Aklapper, thanks for guiding me through
Yes I had Wikisource-Community-User-Group on purpose, but it was probably a mistake (I didn't read the description saying « Project to gather non-coding tasks » at that time).
I talk with @Tpt and the french wikisource community on the scriptorium before opening this bug : see this section of the scriptoirum.
The problem I'm trying to solve is to ease and improve the editing in the page namespace by merging to nearly-always-used-together buttons : « save » and « next page ».
Adding ProofreadPage project tag, as the linked conversation says N'hésite pas à ouvrir une task sur Phabricator lié à ProofreadPage à propos de cela.
@Tpt: I am resetting the assignee of this task because there has not been progress lately (please correct me if I am wrong!).
Resetting the assignee avoids the impression that somebody is already working on this task. It also allows others to potentially work towards fixing this task.
Please claim this task again when you plan to work on it (via Add Action... → Assign / Claim in the dropdown menu) - it would be welcome! Thanks for your understanding!
Could not this (and would be better as) a javascript Gadget? It's just chaining together two existing operations so they can be triggered by a single button click. It would still need to be implemented, of course, but a Gadget sounds far less resource-heavy than changing the MW editing interface.
