Description
We have deployed recently edit-analytics and editor-analytics with the mediawiki history reduced snapshot automation chage. Because of that we needed that those services were able to connect to both datastores (cassandra and druid) and we had to create a new kubernetes chart for all AQS services.
Once edit and editor are deployed on production and working fine it's time to tune a bit the new chart because some deprecated properties are still there (datasource) and we should fix the default value for cassandra consistency that seems to be localQuorom but one is the one that is set at this moment.
We can also take the opportunity to set the right datacenter for cassandra. It seems at the time of creating the previous chart there were no cassandra hosts for codfw and, at this moment, they already exist. Default value for datacenter for all services is eqiad at this time, regardless the datacenter where the service is running.
Acceptance Criteria
- datasource property has been removed as a default property for the aqs-http-gateway chart
- Default consistency level for cassandra is set to localQuorumfor the aqs-http-gateway chart (Done at https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/deployment-charts/+/1041235)
- The right value for datacentre is set per service using the specific values file we have for codfw and eqiad (Done at https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/c/operations/deployment-charts/+/1041235)
- We could leave config_table property with the default value that is already set in the chart and remove the one we set for edit-analytics and editor-analytics in their respective values files
