Drop a “TREE” or 🎄 in the comments, and I’ll send you an exclusive taste of Flowity Flow Club. Imagine walking into class with full confidence and letting that energy light up your students. 🌟 Flow Structure: My favorite way to build a yoga class is by combining smaller parts into a grand finale flow. This week, I switched it up b...
If you’re ever feeling like you’re in a yoga sequencing rut, and you want to try something a little different without totally confusing your class, use my favorite mini tip: ADD A TAP I’ve used this trick in lots of different place. A small movement like this can add a brain challenge and a little spice to a sequence, but students can always choose to leave it out if it isn’t for them! Where can you imagine adding a...

I often teach this little transition at the top of a sequence: 3 legged dog > knee to opposite tricep > something side plank-ish 😄 These are 4 choices that work. Sometimes I will cue the class into something specific, sometimes I’ll let everyone choose their own adventure. ➡️ float the foot off the ground ➡️ keep the knee tucked into the chest ➡️ grab the foot in a variation of Vasisthasana ➡️ drop the foot and open the chest into fallen star The best part is that all of these flow sea...

Trisha Meacham on Instagram: "Join me for one of my newest Vinyasa sequences that I am teaching this week. I lost my voice a little bit over the weekend because of all the birthday festivities at my house. My kids are a day apart which always leads to a busy birthday week.😂 I absolutely love the transitions in this video and it all flows together so well. Have you ever tried a toppling tree in your practice from a warrior three? I absolutely love that pose. I hope everyone is having a great Friday morning and I’m looking forward to my Saturday class to wrap up the week. If anyone has things they’d like to practice next week please let me know. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend. #vinyasaflow #yogastrength #yogaforallbodies #topplingtreepose #warrior3 #yogateacher #yogasequencing #
