Coordinate Plane Test
This is the test that I give to my 6th grade math students assessing them on the coordinate plane unit. This test assesses naming points on the coordinate plane, graphing points on the coordinate plane, identifying quadrants in which points are located, reflecting points on the coordinate plane, and finding the distance between points on the coordinate plane. There are two different versions of this test. One version has a real-world constructed response question, and the other version does not.
Polygons in the Coordinate Plane
Looking for a way to review area of polygons in the coordinate plane? This lesson includes 12 problems asking students to evaluate the area of polygons in the coordinate plane by plotting points, identify coordinates, counting units, drawing shapes, and finding area and perimeter of polygons and composite figures. Includes rectangles, triangles, parallelograms, and trapezoids. Great practice or review. Grab yours today! #areaofpolygons #area #middleschoolmath
