Pamela Salzman on Instagram: "Pear Carpaccio. This is such a fun fall salad and it is so quick and easy! Not everyone has a good relationship with her/his mandolin and I understand. Many people think they're dangerous, but it did help me get nice thin slices of pear. I used Bartlett pears which were firm but ripe. That's the key. Then toss a quick salad with arugula or frisée and add pomegranate, nuts and your favorite cheese. I think blue cheese would be amazing, but Hubs refuses to eat it. 🙄 Pears arugula flaky salt and black pepper to taste olive oil balsamic vinegar walnuts pomegranate seeds feta I do have this typed up with step-by-step instructions and other options for the nuts and cheese.
