I have a 1800 sq. ft. Townhouse with vaulted ceilings up to 17 feet high. They have the standard Sheetrock ceilings with the dreaded popcorn texture. House was built very sturdy in 1998, with engineered trusses etc. I would like to install a wood ceiling with open rafters and tongue and groove wood all painted white. I am not interested in any 'Faux type' building materials, but want real wood. Similar to this ceiling in the picture. Larger rafters would be even better. My questions are
