.
It’s one can of frosting and 2 3/4 cups (almost 3 cups) of powdered sugar. It shouldn’t feel sticky at all. If it feels sticky add more powdered sugar little by little until it does not. Just a couple small drops of food coloring is perfect, you DO NOT need a lot. If you don’t want to use food coloring you can use colored frosting (like pink for Valentine’s Day 💕).
.
This can be reused & stored in an air tight container for up to 3 weeks.

.
**This isn’t meant to be eaten, it’s just a safer option for the little ones that still put everything in their mouths.

119K views · 654 reactions | If you want to start doing sensory play but not sure where to begin, I have your answer: Cornflour!!

Cornflour is such a versatile, easy, cheap ingredient and can be used in so many great (but simple) recipes for play 🙌🏼

We are starting with cloud dough.. this is super soft, squishy and cost less than $5 to make!!

You’ll need:

1 cup corn flour
1/3 cup hair conditioner
1 drop of food colouring

Mix it up (add more cornflour if too sticky or more conditioner if too dry) and you’ve got a super smooth playdough!

This will last up to a month in an airtight container (and can be revived when drying out by adding a little more conditioner 🙌🏼)

Stay tuned for another easy, budget friendly way to use cornflour in your play

Christie | Our Playful Adventures on Instagram: "🎊CREPE PAPER PLAYDOUGH🎊 I'll tell you what.... Crepe paper really is the gift that keeps on giving! Last week, we used it to make the most vibrant watercolours, and today, we used the leftovers to make crepe paper playdough😍 This dough is a really unique texture. Smooth on the outside like regular playdough, but if you tear it apart, it feels all spongey from the crepe paper. The colours are so cool too, I LOVE how they look all mixed together! My toddler absolutely loved it. If you want to try this with your kiddos, Here's what we did👇 ➡️Put some crepe paper in a small jar, add hot water, and let it soak for at least 30 mins so the colour bleeds out. We used leftover crepe paper that had already been soaked, about half a streamer r Paper Tearing Art For Kids, What To Make Out Of Paper, Crepe Paper Art, Diy Play Doh, Crepe Streamers, Montessori Toddler Activities, Preschool Arts And Crafts, The Leftovers, Kindergarten Teaching
