Making my own custom pinata for parties is one of my favorite things to do. I love that it provides an activity, but also is so so cute for decor too. This one took me about 2 hours from start to finish. After I finished all the tissue paper, I knew it needed something extra and decided to douse it in spray adhesive and glitter and I am so glad I did. It turned out so cute. 2.4K views · 29 reactions | HOW TO: Mickey Mouse Ears FAVOR WALL.MATERIALS:4x3 Plywood Black Paint INSTRUCTIONS:Use your smallest panel as template to trace a 15”x36” semi-circle at the bottom of plywood.If you don’t have a panel to use as template, you can use the pencil & string method to trace your semi-circle. Trace the ears by using an 18” round. I used a tray I’d made years ago. If you don’t have one handy, you can use something similar like a pot or pan. Circles will overlap the semi-circle a bit. Use a measuring tape to make sure ears are even.Cut plywood with a Jigsaw. I like using metal blades to cut wood. Cut comes out smoother (to me). Take your time if it’s your first time using a Jigsaw. It’s super easy to use, but you don’t want to over cut by going too fast.Used Heavy Duty double sided tape to hang wooden ears. We also secured it with 2 hooks behind each ear that we used to tie to the main panel. To hang headbands, we used clear thumbtacks.
