Georgina ✨ on Instagram: "Flu season calls for chicken soup 🤧🍲 We’ve both been abit sick lately so it was time for some food as medicine! 🫶 Slow cooker from @kmartaus RECIPE: ‘Fix me’ chicken noodle soup Add Into your slow cooker: Bunch of kale chopped 2 x small carrots 2 x celery stalks 1 x zucchini 1 x onion 5 x garlic cloves 1 x whole chicken 6 x cups of chicken stock or broth 2 x big tsps of @gevityrx body glue 2 x tsp ginger (fresh is best) Thyme Salt & pepper Lemon slices Cook on low for 7 hours or 4 on high. Once done, take out the chicken (be careful as bones may have fallen off) and shred, set aside. I love to use rotisserie chickens for a protein source on busy weeknights or when I’m just feeling a little lazy ;) And because I love a high protein recipe, we’re doubling down on easy protein sources today by using chicken bone broth in this nutritious soup, which makes 6 servings at 37g of protein per serving!
