It doesn’t need to be anything complicated - you just need to move your body. This is how I did it and 👉🏼FOLLOW ME👈🏼 for more weight loss advice & support💘 1️⃣ Morning - start your day with a quick walk as soon as you wake up. This will not only wake you up and fill you with energy but it will start the day off with a few thousand steps which will quickly add up over the course of the day. 🌅 2️⃣ Lunch - during your lunch break, use some of that time to get some steps in. Even if it is 10-15 minutes once you’ve eaten, it will all add up. It will also help digestion, reduce bloating and avoid that post lunch slump going into the afternoon! 🥗 3️⃣ Afternoon - after work plan in a slightly longer slot to unwind from a busy day and use it as your post work routine to signal that it is time to wind down after work. This will help you decompress from work/ a busy day and lower your cortisol levels as post exercise your cortisol levels drop as you replenish energy through food and sleep. 👩🏼‍🏭 4️⃣ Evening - before going to sleep, go for a short walk to complete your step goal which will improve your sleep quality before going to bed! 🛏️ 5️⃣ Mindset - instead of taking the car to the shop, walk to complete your errands and it will quickly become a habit. Pace around the living room whilst watching your favourite shows, I do this and I get around 4500 steps in 30 minutes whilst still getting my TV fix in. Watch a walking workout video to boost your step count whilst also raising your heart rate. Walk while on the phone, instead of lying down and catching up with friends just walk around the house.
