Watch while I make a Bee 🐝 themed tumbler and lid from start to finish 🥰 #beekeeping #glitter #gold #honeycomb The Stainless Depot Company Dojes Designs... | By Dojes Designs LLC | Hey, y'all. It's Donna with Doji's Designs. I'm using a thirty-ounce Modern Curve from the Stainless Depot here. I'm applying my second coat of black two X Rust Ostoleum spray paint and then immediately go in with some chunky go glitter and just sprinkle that all around that tumbler. Just let it fall as it may. Let it look natural and then we'll take it in, set it, let it dry. Once it's dry, I'll take a chip brush in my hand and just make sure all that loose glitter is off and then I'm going to seal it with two X Rust Oleum clear just to sure that glitter stays and then get our epoxy mixed up. I'm using Hogsby Facet from the Stainless Depot. Just going to go over this whole tumbler and get that smooth gone, hit it with a little bit of heat and we're going to let that turn and there it is and all it's beauty. Once that's dry, we're going to take a razor blade and just trim off any of that epoxy that mighta got around the rim. Take a sanding block and expose some of that stainless steel to help the remainder the epoxy to adhere to that tumbler. Clean that rim up with a little bit of acetone. Here I've already got my decals cut for my honeycomb. I'm using a metallic glittery vinyl and I'm just applying those on here. This step, you can put as many or as little as you want. Um just keep in mind if you're going to apply anything else, just leave yourself room. Then, I've got a offset that I cut. I'm going to go in and put on a few of those and then go in and apply some bees with some UV resin and I'm just using enough resin here to make sure that they stay on there because we will be applying more epoxy so I'm just going to go around keep in mind if you're going to put a drip on it put your bees low enough that the drip doesn't cover them up so just take your time go around make sure it's nice and evened out that you balance out your little rhinestone bees and so now it's time to do the drill I decided use UV resin for my drip today and I'm using a brilliant gold mica powder and to thicken this up I'm going to put a little bit of cornstarch in there because the UV UV resin will really drip down pretty fast and I want it to drip down slowly and look more natural so I'm going to add that cornstarch going to put in a little bit more of that mica powder make sure it's nice and bright just doing the cornstarch to make sure it's thick enough that it drips slowly. So I've got that ready. Once you do have it ready. I'm just using a popsicle stick just to go around the edge of that tumbler and you can see there that it's slowly starting to drip on its own so that gives it a really more of a natural look. Once you see those drips stop where you want them to. Get that UV light and hit it and it will stop it from dripping. And then just continue the process around your tumbler. Um you can put your drip on there as thick as you want or as thin. That is just a preference. So, those are dripping down real nicely. So, I'm just going to hit it with that light. Make sure I stop em and they don't drip down anymore. Um if you need to go back and add a little bit here and there. You certainly can do that. Um just let it drip on its own so it just blends together. I am going to take my big lamp and just hit it since it is a little bit thicker just to make sure it is cured all the way through. So, now we're going to apply coat of epoxy. At this point, it actually is going to get two more coats of epoxy. So, here you see me putting that on. I'm using Hogsby Fast Set. Again, from the Stainless Depot. Hit it with a little heat. Make sure there's no micro bubbles in there that we don't see and then we're going to let this cure and let it turn, do its little thing and now, we're going to clean it for the last time. Like I said, it's had two coats of epoxies. We're going to clean this rim up for the last time and get it nice and clean. I did wash it Bar Keeper's Friend. I just forgot to record that part. So now I'm going to make the lid. This customer wanted the decorative lid. So here I have my little wooden honey spoon dropper that you dip like into honey and it comes out. I just took a little alcohol ink Tim Holtz brand. Colored that wooden honey stick and now I'm just taking the lid. Popped off that slider. Gonna take UV resin. Put it all over the lid and just dump the ice on there. It's a lot quicker than trying to place the ice on there one piece at a time. Just put it on there. Um secure it into place with that lamp or your flashlight. Make sure you do not get it where the straw goes and then if you need to fill in a few places that it didn't hold and you can just do those individually. Then I'll do the same thing again just to build that ice up a little bit. Um I'd use two sizes on this step. I have a smaller piece and I'll just kind of some just to help fill in any holes, make it look natural. I try not to just place em just just so it has more of a natural look. So, going to hit it with some more UV resin and this is going to have food-grade epoxy over it also. So, y'all don't come at me about the UV resin. So, once we get that all nice and secure, we're going to start applying our accessories. So, the first thing I like to put on is the little honey that kind of kind of starts me off with my with a guide of where I'm going to put everything else and then I'll take some little gold honeycomb and just kind of stick those down to the ice use the UV resin to secure them into place and we'll do the same thing with the little rhinestone honey bees and put those all around on there like I said at this out, we're just making sure everything stays in place with this UV resin because I will mix up more epoxy and I will go over this whole lid. It will secure it. It will keep all of it together. It will lock all of these little bees and honeycombs and the little wooden stick. It'll lock it all into place to where it's going to stay and it is washable. I do want to put that in here because that's a lot of comments I get if you can wash it. Yes you can wash it. Hand wash it with just warm water. So here I've mixed up a little bit more of the UV resin with the mica powder and just going to put it on there like it's honey that has spilt across there. And I always try to get some on the end of that little stick and try to catch it in a drip. And then I put it under the lamp. Lock it in there nice and secure. There it is. Super cute. And you will get another lid with it. So here it is finished it is complete it is ready to go it is super glittery super shiny there is that lid you can see all of the honey the honeycombs the bees the rhinestones the ice super cute this is just a super super cute fun tumbler I love making these you can see that glittery honeycomb the chunky glitter and the lid added with all of that decorated on there it's just something of added fun so you don't have to have that part but I always do send out a plain lid just in case you want to have one like that one right there. If you have any questions, let me know. Bye.

Putting Photos In The Epoxy | The most frequently asked questions that I get is about photos in epoxy. Here I show a great hack to accomplishing it! | By LittleLee and Rose | Hey, guys. Welcome back to our channel. Today, we're going to talk about putting photos into epoxy. It's one of the most frequently asked questions that I get. So, here is a great hack to accomplishing it. This project uses basic supplies only just paper, a laser printer, and some packing tape. Start by using the laser printer to print out your photo onto the paper. The laser printer ink is permanent and waterproof. That's really important. You will also need the clear packing tape to place right over the image. Overlap the packing tape by a quarter of an inch. Use a firm edge tool. This is called the squeegee and can be found on our website for just a few dollars but you can also use a credit card or the back of the spoon. This makes direct contact and firm grip of the tape on the image. Next, cut close around the image to suit your needs. You can always use an app to remove the background from your image if it's undesirable. Now this is where it gets pretty interesting. So grab a small dish or bucket and submerge the image in water. You're going to leave the image submerged for about 90 to 120 seconds making sure to saturate the paper backing completely. Lift the image out of the water and gently rub your finger over the soaked paper and let it work off and away from the image and tape. If the paper doesn't roll away from the back easily, you just need to soak it for a little bit longer and you'll see that once it's really well soaked, the paper will just rub right off of the image. Occasionally, you'll have to place it back into the water at the halfway point and soak it again. Your goal is to completely remove the paper leaving only the ink and tape behind. It should be fully transparent when it's finished. Consistent medium pressure is what works best for this process. Now, you just going to let the image dry and when it does, the sticky backing should return. Then, just grab your tumbler and place the image where you desire. This style image tends to work better on light color tumblers but it is also personal preference. You can try it on any surface and if you like it. Use your squeegee again to make sure the image is firmly in place. Then just seal it in with clear coat spray paint and then epoxy. Now let's repeat the process and do it on an epoxy project that isn't a tumbler.
Part 1 🤩 Tooled leather & glitter tumbler | By Dojes Designs LLC | Hey, y'all. This is Donna with Dojes Designs. The tumbler I'm working on today is a twenty-ounce Skinny from the Stainless Steel Depot. I've already prepped my tumbler. I've sanded it. I've washed it and I've already cut my design. It's a tooled leather look. I cut it on permanent vinyl. It's Oracle 651 and I'm applying it here with my transfer tape. Um just take your time on a pattern like this. Um there's some small pieces so just take your time and you will eventually get it on there. Um you want to make sure all of those pieces are down really well because we don't want anything getting up under the vinyl. I did make a circle and cropped out piece of the image to apply to the bottom of the cup. Then, we're going to go outside and we're going to spray paint right over the vinyl that we put on our cup. I'm using Rust Oleum two X white spray paint. I'm using a semi gloss. I did two coat of the paint. Um let it dry in between. When you're using alcohol ink, you want to get really good coverage on your paint so the alcohol ink has something to adhere to. Um I'm using a chip brush here to apply my ink. I'm using Tim Holtz Teekwood. Uh you can use any color ink that you like. You can go darker, lighter, you can use a colored alcohol inks. Um just use your imagination and Sky's the limit. Um like I said, I'm using a chip brush here. You want to get that alcohol ink in there really well, you want to get it inside all of the crevices of the vinyl that is on the cup because that's what's going to help give us dimension that we're going for at the end. You will see just keep going get that ink in there. The more you work with alcohol inks, the different looks you will get as you will see applying it here to the bottom then we're going to go in with the rag and I have sprayed 91% alcohol onto my rag and Imma go in and just take off some of that ink that we put on and that's what we're trying to do is get some dimension going here so we put the ink on we're going to take it off we're going to go back in and put some more ink onto the cup do the same process just get it really good inside the the vinyl and it will start adhering to the sides of that vinyl and we're going to do the same process. I'm just going to use the rag that I've already got the alcohol on. It does not take much alcohol at all for these inks. So, as you can see, the look I'm going for is the darker around the edges of the vinyl and a little bit lighter on the top. So, that is what we've got here that looks good. That's the look I'm going for. Now, I'm going to just spray some alcohol onto a napkin and I'm going to clean up bit of those edges where I mighta got some splatter or some alcohol ink where I didn't want it. Um I'm using white glitter on this part so that's why I'm cleaning this up real good. If you do this, don't rub too hard. You don't want to take any of your paint off. If you're using a dark glitter, you probably don't even have to use do this step. Um like I said, I'm doing it because I'm going to apply white glitter to this part of the tumbler. So, I've got that cleaned up. I'm working on two of these. So, there they are. They both turned out good. I've already put one coat of white glitter onto the tumbler. So, here I am going in with my Mod Podge to go in for the second coat. Um just get your Mod Podge good and smooth. You don't want any lines in your Mod Podge or it will show in your glitter. I'm going to go in with some chunky starting at the bottom. Just tilt your cup. Um let that kind of flow. Land as it made. I'm going to do that from the top just to help give a little bit of dimension to that side of the cup too and I'm going to go over chunky after it dries or now I'm going to go in and apply some fine glitter right over that onto that Mod Podge and that chunky glitter will shine through and just give a little bit of dimension. So there's the cup with those two sides done. Gonna let that dry real good and then I did brush off any excess glitter and I did seal it with two X for a sodium clear. So the glitter did not shift over to the wood grain or to the alcohol inks and now I'm going in where those two colors meet and just put a little bit of Mod Podge and I'm going to apply some chunky gold glitter. This step is optional. You can leave it as it is or you can just put some vinyl strips down. Um just use your imagination. Just do what you want to do. There's no wrong is no right. Uh it's just all in the creativity of how you want to do it. Um I just chose to put some chunky gold down here. This is the first step to this cup. Um we're going to apply that to both sides of it. There is more we're going to do to this cup. This is part one. So if you want to see the rest of what's going on with this cup. Just please share this video. Um like and follow for part two. Um We are fixing to apply our epoxy. I'm using Hog Speed Fast Set and I will get that on this cut really well. I will hit it with my heat. Pop any bubbles that maybe there. Here it is finished on the first step. Um like I said, come back for part two and I will see you soon. Bye.
1.4M views · 36K reactions | Check out this alcohol ink cow print tutorial #glitter #mixing #Epoxy #cowprint #customized | By Dojes Designs LLC | Hey, y'all. This is Donna with Dojes Designs. Here I am mixing two glitters that I have. I needed a certain color. I didn't have it. So, I pulled a mint color. It's called mint for you and a gold color. It's called Millionaire and I mix those two together because I'm going to be using them on this tumbler later in the video. I've already put on my first coats of glitter and let that dry then I applied more Mod Podge and I'm applying the second coat of glitter is a aqua color turning that tumbler just to make sure I get that handle really well and then I'm going to go in with white for the top and it's called Jasmine don't have a whole lot of that left I'm about out and the company that I get it from no longer sells glitter so I will be looking for another glitter company that's got a beautiful white so here I am excuse me just apply glitter. Um you can do the handle. Just make sure you turn that cup this top of the handle inside of that handle. So, now I'm going to go in with alcohol inks and make some cow prints and you do this technique on the raw glitter. There's no epoxy on the cup at all. So, just go in. I'm using Tim Holtz black. Um just go around the cup just making cow prints. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Just let that ink kind of run and make its own design. Try not to like make em be fixed. You don't want it to have a fixed look. You want it to look natural. So, now I'm going in with the second color. Um it's called espresso and I did the same thing and then this third color I'm using is ginger. Um just going around making random sizes. Some are really small then I have a few that are big and then quite a few middle size. I did go down into the aqua just a little bit sewing my I put on my chunky glitter, it'll kind of ombre into that. So, here I am after all of that's dried. I let my alcohol inks dry for about an hour. So, I'm going to put Mod Podge on the cup to get ready for the chunky glitter. Um at first, I was just going to go up the cup a little ways but I went on ahead and just seal the whole cup with the Mod Podge. So, here's the glitter that you saw me mix at the beginning of the video. I'm just going to tilt that cup a little bit and let that glitter fall as it may just so it has more of a natural look. Um that colors really they compliment each other really well so I'm going to let that dry and then go in oh I did seal that chunky glitter with two X Restoleum clear I forgot to video that part but I did seal it so it doesn't move so here I'm applying my epoxy it's Hog Speed Fast Set has UV protection so it's going to help that white glitter stay white so just make sure you get that handle really well get with a heat gun, pop any bubbles that might be there and then we will let that dry and put on another coat of epoxy. Here it is turning. If you have any questions on this technique, give me a shout. I'll be glad to help you. Thank you for watching. I'll see you next time. Bye.

147K views · 2.9K reactions | Stanley Dupe Tumbler. With Mica & Epoxy Free! | Oh friends…get ready for a Stanley dupe tumbler…so much sparkly goodness that was easy to do and NO GLITTER! EEEE! And no epoxy! (Though you totally... | By Blessings Craft Therapy | Let's see if we could do a Micah tumbler. Hey, everybody. It's Colette with Blessings Craft Therapy if you didn't know and if you did, thank you so much for coming back. I got this tumbler at Michael's and it is a stainless steel tumbler double walled. It is very similar to a Stanley friends. A lot of you when I did my Tacket Method one suggested I unscrew the handle. So that's what I'm doing. I unscrewed the handle and I'm going to take some of the masking tape and I'm going to cover that silver part on the top. Then I take some this is just rubbing alcohol a cloth and I'm just washing it down. Then we're going to use tack it over and over again. Um I probably used a little too much. I was a little too heavy handed. And if I were to do this again which I'm sure I will. I would use a wet and wild makeup brush instead of this makeup brush. Only because it gave a little bit more brush strokes than I actually wanted. We're going to just make sure we put this tacket on so that it doesn't have a lot of see how is like a lot of lines where it's a little bit more heavy in one spot than another. You want to try to get it as even as you can. I'm using a lilac colored cup so that helps a great deal as well. Um remember whatever color cup you have, it is going to kind of pull that color when you put the mica on top. Now, I'm drying this and I am using my heat gun because I ain't got no time to wait for this to dry but when again, I say dry it. I mean, it is going to dry but it's still going to be sticky. It but if you touch it, it's not going to leave any stickiness on your finger. Does that make sense? So, it's not like touching Mod Podge. When Mod Podge is wet, you're going to get Mod Podge on your finger. This when it's dry, it's nothing gets on your hand which works like a drain. This is the wet and wild brush that I was talking about earlier that I should have used for putting on the tacket but I'm using it to use for our Mica and I'm dabbing it on and then swirling it trying to you know kind of get it to lay down onto the cup this stuff is really light and it goes into the air very easily so just be mindful of that and so I just go as far up the cup as you want you can do as many colors as you want I'm doing just the tube just because these are my brand colors but whatever you think is fine again all I'm doing is dabbing it on and then I just swirl it oh I'm telling you again this video does not it justice. It looks so pretty. This makes me happy. Makes me smile. Um cups in general. Cups and pens and notebooks. Whoo. Those are my jam but oh so and this was so easy. So easy to clean up and to do all the things. Look at how pretty it is. I can't. Alright so remember that Crystal Act grand finale. We're going to do the same thing using this same brush. I actually didn't even wash the brush or anything. I used the same brush and I'm doing Crystalette grand finale. I did three coats. Again, two hours in between each coat. Do nice, thin coats. If for this one, I actually just let it drip dry which means I just set it down. I didn't put it on a cup turner or anything but if you do that, you want to make sure you do very thin layers and you know the funny thing is my daughter saw it and she went and this is my goal every time I do a video. She goes, mom, okay, I win. Alright so this is the three coats. I let them dry two hours in between each coat and now we're going to take that tape off and then we're going to add our handle back on. I just put the little screws back in. And then this little silicone bottom thing was on sale at Michael's. And so I put that on the bottom. Awesome. Right? It looks perfect. And then they also had color changing straws. So I put the purple one on and yeah. I'm jazzed. Super jazzed. Ooh that was a lot fun. Thank you everyone for watching and I hope this inspires you.
41K views · 632 reactions | Check out this cute Gingerbread themed coffee mug 🎄 #gingerbeard #cookie #mug #dojesdesigns | By Dojes Designs LLC | Hey, y'all. This is Donna with Doji's Designs. I'm using a ten-ounce stainless steel coffee mug from the Stainless Depot. I'm applying my second coat of glitter. The color of this one is called pecan. Let that dry and I've applied a coat of epoxy. Now that that's dry, I'm going to go in and apply my stencils. I'm using gingerbread-shaped people little girl and boy, I'm just going to randomly apply those around the coffee mug. I'm using 651 Oracle Vinyl for my stencil. So, there is cute cute cute so now I'm going to go out and use two expressoleum paint to prep the cup and get it ready to apply my glitter so I'm just going to ombre these two colors together I just chose some colors that were pretty close to my glitter so get that done I'm going to let it dry and now I'm going to get my glue gun and just put some glue dots on my stencil so I don't lose it under the glitter once I apply it I'm going to put a little heat on that cup it just helps the epoxy to flow better and spread out easy when it has a little bit of heat on it so make sure you get that handle the top and the bottom and put some heat on it again make sure there's no lines in my epoxy so here I'm applying my glitter doing the epoxy method using sunkissed and pull blue and when you do the epoxy method go over your glitters several times because you want to make sure that it's smooth and even you don't have any heavy spots or light spots so just take your time go those glitters and at the end I'm going to go in with some white glitter just hit it right there in the middle help it to ombre in and I'm going to immediately go in with my pointed tweezers and remove the little gingerbread stencil that we put on there earlier in the video just take your time on this you don't want to slip and mess up your glitter because your epoxy is still wet at this point I don't use a fast set epoxy when I do this there it is super cute super cute so we're going to let spin and dry. It's dried. I put another coat of epoxy and now that one's dried. So now I'm applying my offset to give these little gingerbread people some detail. Um we have the little boy and then we have the little girl. She has a bow and her hair. Um super cute. You could do this smaller. Um you add more to it. Um you just be creative. Um use your creativity. You could do so many things with the design like this. Um for going to get those on and use a squeegee, press it down really well. Now, I decided to put a drip on the top of this tumbler and I'm going to use UV resin. I'm going to add some white pigment and get that stirred up really good. I'm going to put a little shimmer in there. This is just it's a embossing powder actually. Um just to give it a little bit of shimmer. So, it wasn't quite as thick as I wanted it to be. So, I'm going to add some cornstarch, thicken up that UV resin and now I'm just going to go all the way around this coffee mug just applying it with a popsicle stick around the whole cup and since I thickened it with the cornstarch it's not going to just like run like crazy and be all down the side of the cup it's going to kind of take its time and I'm going to put some on that handle to look like that icing is flowing down the handle you can see it already dripping some just going to tap it a little bit and kind of get more of a natural flow going. Um it wasn't as shimmery as I wanted so I'm going to add some white glitter over that UV resin that we're using for our icing with our little gingerbread cookies. This is a super cute design. Um want to hit it with my flashlight just to make sure it stops running and doesn't drip down anymore then put it under the light for probably about I don't know eight minutes or so. Now, I'm going to brush off any glitter that might be there. There it is. Super cute. We're going to one more coat of epoxy and it is finished. I appreciate y'all watching. Bye.
