Health (SDG3) to ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive healthcare services by the year 2030, including family planning, information, and education. Reproductive health care should emphasize the needs of potential and actual beneficiaries, for not only limiting births but also for a healthy sexual life and childbearing. In India, the sexual and reproductive health approach should be shifted from population stabilization to enabling women and men to get their personal sexual and reproductive goals without contributing to mortality and morbidity through
their reproduction. On a general note, as the tribal population resides majorly in hard-to-reach areas, therefore access to healthcare facilities especially reproductive and sexual health care is always a daunting task.
This literature review aimed to understand the ideas and beliefs of the PVTG towards reproductive health, popularity and knowledge of Government health services among them and to identify the gaps and issues for better participation and involvement of the sexually active population in a disadvantaged PVTG population. Reviewing the literature on PVTG women concerning their reproductive and sexual health suggests very few numbers studies on PVTGs women‘s reproductive and sexual health with a specific research question.
