            Vítězný univerzitní slogan, vybraný v soutěži „Claim pro Univerzitu Karlovu“, vystihuje dl
            univerzity i její vůdčí pozici v našem vzdělávacím prostoru a je dalším prvkem ve sjednoce

            směrem k veřejnosti.

            Univerzita Karlova je všeobecně známá a uznávaná vzdělávací instituce, se skvělou reputací

            světě. Jak ale lépe přiblížit její postavení a poslání široké veřejnosti? Jak dát honosném
            českému symbolu vzdělání více emocionální rozměr, vystihující její podstatu?


            Na tuto otázku hledala odpověď soutěž pro akademickou veřejnost „Claim pro Univerzitu Karl
            na jaře 2024.Jejím cílem bylo nalézt univerzitní slogan, který by pomohl sjednotit a vypro

            prezentaci UK směrem k veřejnosti. Zadáním bylo, aby claimy pracovaly jak s tématem histor
            i se zaměřením na budoucnost a modernitu a mohly být jak v českém, tak i anglickém jazyce.


            Celkem se sešlo téměř 100 návrhů v českém a 80 v anglickém jazyce. Z nich pak bylo postupn
            rešerší a posuzování, i drobných úprav za pomoci odborníků na copywriting, vybráno 5 claim
            ve finále zapsány Úřadem průmyslového vlastnictví.


            Vítězný claim „Spojujeme staletí, tvoříme budoucnost od roku 1348“ (v anglické verzi „Brid
            creating future since 1348“), který vystihuje jak úctyhodnou historii a tradici univerzity

            pozici v našem vzdělávacím prostoru, byl schválen kolegiem rektorky k oficiálnímu užití, a
            nyní, symbolicky při příležitosti 677. narozenin naší univerzity, představujeme. Samotná k
            tímto claimem je plánována na začátek nového akademického roku 2025/2026.

            The winning university slogan, selected in the "Claim for Charles University" competition,
            long history of the university and its leading position in our educational space and is an
            the unified presentation of Charles University to the public. 


            Charles University is a well-known and respected educational institution, with an excellen
            both at home and around the world. But what better way to present its position and mission

            public? How to give the pompous name, the proud Czech symbol of education, a more emotiona
            capturing its essence?


            This was the question that the "Claim for Charles University" competition for the academic
            announced in spring 2024, sought to answer. Its aim was to find a university slogan that w
            and profile the UK's presentation to the public. The brief was that the slogans should wor

            of history and tradition as well as with a focus on the future and modernity, and could be
            and English.


            In total, nearly 100 proposals were received in Czech and 80 in English. From these, 5 cla
            through a gradual process of a series of searches and assessments, as well as minor modifi
            help of copywriting experts, 3 of which were finally registered by the Industrial Property


            The winning claim "Bridging centuries, creating future since 1348" (in czech „Spojujeme st
            budoucnost od roku 1348“), which expresses both the impressive history and tradition of th

            and its leading position in our educational space, has been approved by the Rector's Colle
            use, and therefore we present it to you now, symbolically on the occasion of the 677th bir
            University. The actual campaign associated with this claim is planned for the beginning of

            year 2025/2026.
