After Helen introduces Richard to her husband Terry, she appeals to Richard's sense of daring and invites him to a mountain camp, where she initiates an embrace, which Terry interrupts. A subsequent duel leaves Terry badly wounded. As Helen tells Richard that she met him earlier in college and now loves him, a dam gives way, and they work together to replace its logs so that a hospital downstream housing crippled children will not be harmed. Richard then kidnaps Helen and takes her aboard a yacht. After harbor police board the yacht, Richard leaps into the water and strikes his head on a police patrol boat pursuing them. Richard awakens to find that Terry, unharmed, is really Helen's brother, and that she has succeeded in making him fall in love with her, even though she is "civilized." Written by AFI See less
